Pitching workshop, a success, participants say

Over the course of two days in early September, eight Norwegian games companies were invited to participate in an intense pitching workshop. A recent addition to Noneda’s Konsoll Connect endeavour, the pitching workshop promises to be an annual event.

Eight Norwegian games companies, both startups and established businesses, were invited to participate at a two-day event. Seven speakers from around the globe comprised a highly qualified panel of experts and provided participants with valuable feedback and inspiring talks on everything from project funding and publisher relations to input on prototypes and advise on how to present your team.

Riddlebit Software pitched their upcoming game "Setback".

The eight participants were invited to practice pitching, speed matchmaking and elevator pitches in a friendly and spirited environment in which they received feedback from industry experts and networked with peers.

A rewarding experience

The Trondheim based company Riddlebit was one such participant. CEO Lars Olav Muri found the experience rewarding:

The workshop was very rewarding. I left with a lot of great feedback and tips on how I can improve my pitch. It was also a nice way to get in touch with people who are willing to share their considerable experience from the industry.

Many of the talks are available online at YouTube and the Konsoll website, though there was plenty of exclusive content, so there’s no reason not to attend next time around! Curious? Read more about what you missed out on and check out the speakers right here!
